The cost of the work is determined at the contract stage and calculated in accordance with Resolution No. 1251 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, dated November 4, 2009, “On the Approval of the Procedure for Determining the Maximum Tariff for Conducting Expert Assessments of the Safety of Industrial Production by Business Entities”, taking into account the following factors:

 

  • The number of equipment units or types of work;
  • Transportation and accommodation costs for specialists at the work site;
  • Labor input (man-hours) required for each type of work;
  • Government-mandated minimum wage rates for employees;
  • Applicable taxes and fees;
  • The remoteness of the facility;
  • Other relevant factors.

The timeframes for work execution are agreed upon at the contract stage and are calculated based on the following factors:

 

  • The number of equipment units or types of work;
  • Timely provision by the Customer of access to the facility and necessary documentation;
  • Labor input (man-hours) required for each type of work;
  • The remoteness of the facility;
  • Other relevant factors.

The timeframe for conducting an expert examination of equipment depends on the type and specific characteristics of the equipment.
The procedure, methods, and scope of the expert examination are defined by occupational safety regulations, as well as organizational, methodological, and operational documentation.

Expert and technical centers under the supervision of the State Labour Service (SLS), or independent expert organizations that provide scientific and technical support to state supervision in the field of industrial safety and labour protection, must have proven competence to carry out inspection activities in the field of occupational safety in accordance with the law.
Accordingly, an organization must be accredited by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine as an inspection body, have a staff of certified experts, and hold a valid permit issued by the State Labour Service of Ukraine.
